We handle your personal data responsibly. This policy describes what data we collect on this website, for what purpose, how long we keep it, and what rights you have as a data subject — under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG).

We process personal data exclusively in good faith, proportionately and for the purposes named in this policy. Disclosure to third parties only takes place where necessary to deliver our services or where required by law.
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) wherever possible to protect your data during transmission.
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.
This data is used solely to operate the website, detect and defend against attacks, and for statistical purposes. It is deleted or anonymised after a maximum of 30 days.
This website does not set any tracking cookies. Only technically necessary browser mechanisms required to display content are used. No consent is required for this.
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, your information (name, email address, phone number, postcode/town, subject, message content) is stored for the purpose of processing your request.
The contact form is processed exclusively on our own web server and delivered as an email straight into our mailbox in Sargans — without any third-party service and without storage in a database. To protect against spam we use an invisible control field, a timing check and a simple control question; no additional personal data is collected in the process. Alternatively, the contact buttons open your email program or phone app directly.
We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent. Retention is as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, but no longer than required by statutory retention obligations (typically 10 years for business correspondence under Art. 958f OR).
This website uses the "Source Sans 3" typeface. The font is served directly from our own web server — no connection is made to Google Fonts, a CDN, or any other third party. The font is provided under the SIL Open Font License.
On the contact page an OpenStreetMap map is embedded as an iframe. The map is delivered by servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). When the contact page is loaded, your browser establishes a connection to OpenStreetMap — your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap, even if you do not interact with the map.
This embedding is used exclusively to display our location and simplify the journey to our office in Sargans. For more information on data processing by OpenStreetMap, see wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
On the contact page we link to Apple Maps, Google Maps and OpenStreetMap for route planning. When you click the respective link, you leave our website and the privacy provisions of the respective provider apply. Data is only transmitted to Apple (Apple Inc., Cupertino, USA), Google (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland) or OpenStreetMap when you actively click the link.
This website deliberately avoids analytics services such as Google Analytics, tag managers, pixels or comparable tracking tools. No user behaviour profiling takes place.
Applications are made by email to broder@broder.ch, by phone or via the contact form (subject "Application"). We do not use any third-party service for processing application data — your documents go directly into our inbox.
Application documents are treated confidentially and used exclusively within the recruitment process. After the process is closed — unless you are hired or have consented to longer retention — documents are deleted or destroyed within six months.
As a data subject under revDSG, you have in particular the following rights:
· Information about the data stored about you
· Correction of incorrect data
· Deletion or destruction of your data
· Objection to processing
· Data disclosure or portability in a common format
· Complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)
To exercise your rights, an informal message to broder@broder.ch is sufficient.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access. Nevertheless, data exchange over the internet can never be fully secure — complete security cannot be guaranteed.
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy if necessary, for example when the legal situation or technical circumstances change. The current version is always available on this page. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
